I love going to Green Thumb for my gardening needs. Everything is organized, easy to locate products. The staff is super helpful with any concerns with growth of plants and how to care or fix a problem that I might be having with insects. Green thumb is our #1 store for gardening!

I've never had a bad experience here. Very knowledgeable staff that directed us towards trees that would actually do well in our yard. The plants are always healthy and seasonal plants are in constant rotation.

Every time I visit the nursery, staff has been friendly and has given me helpful advice. I have purchased trees, shrubs, roses and annuals for hanging baskets also bought there. They have made my returns easy as well.

I love this place.It's the only nursery that has the compostable compressed hull pots that I use.Also a huge assortment of pots and edible plants.There are also ornamentals, koi!, architectural items, decor, and more.

There was a nice selection of plants to choose from, and a great variety of vegetables. I had some questions I needed answered and talked with one of the fellows who works there, Miguel, and he was able to give me the answers . At checkout Yvonne was efficient and pleasant to talk to. The staff at Green Thumb is always helpful.

My favorite garden store! From my parents to my kids we all enjoy shopping here. They have a wonderful selection of plants and trees. Garden decorations, pots, water features. Soil and supplements, they even carry organic options!

Every season I feel like I have to remind myself this gem is here. With the big box hardware stores sending ads for big specials on mulch or whatever, I end up going there first in the early Spring until I find myself looking for something more specific or specialty and then remember to check Green Thumb who almost always ends up having it. That said, love the vibe here, and the selection they have for gardening and landscaping. there's cool statues and planters and bird feeders and fountains and tools and seeds and plants and patio furniture. my favorite section is the grill stuff where they have a huge selection of Weber products. They're also on Twism which is good for a discount.

I brought in a leaf of a zucchini plant that I purchased from Green Thumb That's really thriving. But there was an issue with some possible mold on the leaves but the garden pro Chuck reassured me that this is normal and the leaves look very nice and green and he could tell the plant was well soiled, fertilized and fed. And Chuck never tried to sell me anything that I didn't need. Thank you Chuck and Green Thumb for your reassuring honesty. I will be a continuimg lifetime customer!

Green Thumb is our Ventura County Nursery Resource. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable and our family has been going to Green Thumb for over 30 years for all of our garden projects and just about everything one could need including hardware and bird feeders. I know the plants will be healthy and thrive in our Ventura climate. Recently, I bought several Cymbidium Orchids for my mother and Green Thumb is the only nursery to carry them. Supporting local small businesses that hire knowledgeable staff and provide excellent service is important and our family are loyal customers and recommend to everyone!

I am really impressed with the customer service at the Ventura location. All friendly, knowledgeable, and if they know another staff member who might be a better fit for my question, they will call them over to assist. Beautiful plants and products as well!

A large nursery (much bigger than it looks from the front of the store). They have a good variety of all types of plants. There is a small indoor plant area too. A little expensive. Popular and the checkout line is usually long, but moves fast.

I love this place! They have a native California plants section and a cool indoor plants room you have to check out! Everyone who works here is super knowledgeable and friendly. I get all my veggie and herb plants here too. They have everything you need for gardening and beautiful bedding plants, shrubs and trees!

Maybe not the hugest but a very well stocked gardening store. I love the outdoor area the most! The prices may be high but it's great to support such a helpful local business.

I personally go to green thumb for succulents and they definitely have a good variety to choose from, from different sizes and many different types as well. There are around 3-5 rows of succulents and fairly priced as well! I believe it was around 20$ for the six I got (I think 2.99$ each but don't quote me on that). I always get the small baby ones and repot them at home as they grow bigger. They also have a good selection of other plants, flowers, soil, peppers/vegetables, and they even have a indoor plant section as well. Along with the plants they have lots of pots in different shapes and sizes and some garden art as well. And at first when you enter is the shop section where you can find soil, gardening tools, and other stuff you may need for taking care of your plants. Friendly staff there and you can even make copies of your keys, so that's handy if needed. But overall I love this spot to see what succulents I can add to my garden.

Special nursery with unique things: bright colored tomato cages, huge variety of veggie seedlings (6 packs or larger plants), herbs (6 kinds of basil!), and supplies in general. Inside the seed aisle (little packets of vegetables or flowers) has so many choices! And seed companies I'd never heard of before! Such a fun place to go to get the garden ready.

Starting a small backyard garden and we ran to pick up a few seedlings. Wow! This nursery is a hidden gem 💎. It is like a nursery/ hardware store. It had lots of decorations for Christmas and fresh trees. We bought a few items to start the garden.Great place to shop!
